What is India Calling?

Where Ideas
Meet Industry

India Calling: Industry Edition connects student creativity with real-world problem-solving. Guided by industry professionals, teams move from discovery and research through prototyping, testing, and an authentic industry pitch โ€” a genuine two-day innovation sprint.

Students don't just showcase work to industry; they work with industry to understand problems, test assumptions, and shape purposeful solutions for India.

"The best way to predict the future is to build it."

Challenge Studios

Three Tracks.
One Mission.

Every track responds to a shared bank of real-world problem statements. Tools and expected outputs are age-differentiated โ€” but the ambition is the same.

๐Ÿค–
TinkerShala
Grades III โ€“ V

Young innovators use hands-on robotics to build working models. Students explore programming, sensors, and robotics through age-appropriate ROBBO kits โ€” then demonstrate their solution with a design story.

Expected Output

Working model + design story + 2-minute explanation

MediaShala
Grades VI โ€“ VIII

Creative storytellers build awareness campaigns and digital solutions. Students design public communication prototypes that tackle real challenges using professional-grade media tools.

๐ŸŽจ Adobe Suite ๐Ÿ“ข Digital Media ๐ŸŒ Campaign Design

Expected Output

Awareness campaign, digital solution or public communication prototype

MakerShala
Grades IX โ€“ XII

Advanced makers build functional prototypes and technology solutions. Using Arduino's open-source electronics platform, students connect sensors, write code, and test how their prototype responds to real-world conditions.
